Medical laboratory technicians perform analysis by preparing slides of human tissue and other specimens with laboratory equipment.
Blood tests and blood type are also performed by these specialists. Their job is to perform complex procedures and tests to help other healthcare professionals identify, diagnose, and treat disease in patients.
Moreover, medical laboratory technology students learn about human physiology, human anatomy, biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, clinical hematology, immunology, serology, and biomedical waste management.
The MMLT provides theoretical, practical, and technical knowledge so that students can work in biochemistry laboratories.
Subsequently, This course is rigorous and helps students diagnose and prevent disease through laboratory tests. Key areas of the Master in Medical Laboratory Technology (MMLT) are blood banking, clinical chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, and cytotechnology.
Medical laboratory technicians play an important role in gathering the necessary information to treat pathological cases by taking, testing, and analyzing the tests.
The course also equips candidates with the skills needed to use modern equipment to perform laboratory tests.
Graduates of this degree can work as technicians or technologists in medical laboratories. That private hospitals, public hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics with medical laboratories recruit medical technicians.
